More about our care

We believe the success to good care planning is not to apply a one size fits all approach.  We appreciate and embrace that everyone is unique.  This practice is applied from the very outset of our care planning procedures when a full assessment is carried out before a new resident moves into the home.  Our planning ensures we can meet the individuals needs and provide them with the best possible outcome.

We understand that moving into a new home is a daunting experience and may be due to bereavement, loneliness or declining health.  We ensure that we are sensitive to the individuals needs and aim to make the experience as seamless as possible.  Involving the individual in the move is vital and when possible, we suggest a period of respite care.  If this is not possible, we encourage sharing a meal or afternoon tea with our other residents.  A literature pack is also available and provides comprehensive information about our service.

On arrival to the home new residents and families are given a welcome pack and residents guide detailing essential information.

Quality Assurance

In order to monitor the service we provide we have a very a proactive approach.  First and foremost, we believe that quality is everyone’s responsibility.  This ethos runs throughout the home and we actively encourage feedback from anyone who uses our service.  We have an open door policy and regularly canvass the views of our residents, their relatives and advocates, members of staff, health care professionals and governing bodies.

We also hold regular residents and staff meetings giving everyone a chance to voice any opinions, concerns or suggestions they might have about life at Beulah.  This serves as an invaluable opportunity for staff and management to improve the overall quality of the home.

We also have a complaints policy and suggestions book available.
